I remember sitting down at the table going though the first coin colletion I was given as a child and finding coins that I never heard of before like a 3 Cent Silver
coin and a 2 and Half Dollar Gold Quarter Eagle.

The collecting bug bit me then and I’ve been at it ever since. I’m a collector and not an
investor; I’m into this hobby for the beauty of the coins. I’ve been a
long time member of my local coin club and I am running for Vice
President of the club this year. My area is 19th century US coins and
some paper money. I am currently working on a 1873 yr set in EF or
better and a Liberty Nickel set in EF or better shape. I collect a
little bit of everything USA some what like a type collector 17th,
20th and 21 century. But its 19th century coins that’s where my love
is at in this hobby.
